“I miss those days,” someone told me last night as I goofed off at downtown Fredericksburg wine bar Kybecca with my two friends Lauren and Nicole. We smiled politely at our audience, who continued the conversation by prodding about our age…”what college do you go to?”. All three of us practically ten years out of college, we laughed at the youthful misinterpretation of our innocent immaturity.
Never forget to enjoy your youth, but more importantly, never forget that youth never grays unless you want it to. It is never too late to laugh about everything and anything. You are never too old to ride water slides at your local pool, and you are never too old to take life so seriously.
Laugh. Choose to be young, and stop caring about what others think of you, because you see, we all want the same thing: childlike innocence and laughter.
