If you are an American, today, Election Day 2012 is a big day. Without getting into politics whatsoever, today is a day in America where you have a tangible experience in seeing that your voice does matter. I went to my local polling location this morning at 6:15am, happy to be taking part in my constitutional rights. I was happy to have to hunt for a parking spot and happy to need to wait in line for 40 minutes to cast my vote because it meant to me that my community cares. My community wants their voice and opinion to count. And it does.
Your voice matters not just on Election Day, but on every day of the year. Vote for yourself to have confidence and vote for yourself to matter every day because you do.
