Much to my surprise last night I stumbled upon a true gem in The Oprah Magazine: I found six pages of mini-memoirs submitted by readers. These mini-memoirs were truly mini. Six words in length, each to tell a life story. Among my favorites are: I am more than a twin. / I have time to fix this. / Every problem has a creative solution. / I live my best life now. / I dance daily, watched or not, / and Loving heart for sale. Like new.
If you were to write your own mini-memoir today, what would it say? Take the time to write it today. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just get it started. Mine, you might ask? : Eating disorder demolished; abounding new life.
There is great power in words, never forget it.
