WEEDS TO WILDFLOWERS

By TrishBlackwell on September 30, 2010 in Blog, Meaning, Movement

It is in the silences of life that we are able to know how and what we feel.  In the silence of your own personal quest to be at one with your body, how do you feel?  We all fight to understand ourselves in our skin; it’s a natural human experience.  In the moments when you are alone and in the moments that you look in the mirror, how do you feel in the skin you are in?

Your answer to this question is one that will direct you towards or will direct you away from a happy, healthy lifestyle.  If you want to master body-confidence, as most everyone does, then it all begins in your mind.  In life’s moments of silence – the moments before you fall asleep, and in the first moments as you wake – you yourself choose the destiny of your body confidence.  You are what you think.  Before you fall asleep tonight, think positively and kindly towards those things on your body that you consider weeds.  Tomorrow, when you rise, do the same.  It is in your power and your power alone to turn your weeds into wildflowers.

Weeds or wildflowers? You decide.

Start thinking kindly about the thorns in your side, and you will start to see them in a different light.  Remember, what one person might consider a weed, another person might consider a wildflower.  Allow yourself the freedom to love your body, for in loving your body and being confident in the skin you are in, you will love life just a little bit more too.
