The more things you read, the more things you know, the more things you learn, the more places you’ll go! – Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss is the perfect inspiration for a Friday, or any day of the week at that, but Friday especially, for a Friday is the prelude to two days of peace. It is when our lives slow down that we are able to know and be the people that we are meant to be. We have time to read, think, reflect, rest and have fun. And as our doctor has cleverly said, the more we read, the more things we will know. The more we learn, the more places we will go.
Where are the places that you will go? Where in this world will you make an impact? Every crevice of this Earth is at your fingertips if you dream big enough. I like watching E! True Hollywood Stories about the rise and roots of American actors and musicians; these typical rags-to-riches recounts are more than celebrity stories of good luck and perfect timing, they are the biographies of big dreamers.
Dream big: everything is possible. For dreams to come true, you have to be you, so, in the words of Dr. Seuss, be “truer than true” because “there is no one alive that is youer than you.” Take time this weekend to be youer than you and truer than true, and you will find that your dreams will no longer be bigger than you.
