THANK YOU BODY.

On a day where lists of gratitude are generously shared and thoughtfully felt, there is one thank-you that is often forgotten. We try to express our thanksgivings in so many ways and to so many people, attentive to every blessing we can think of to give thanks for, and yet one of the most important, life-sustaining gifts we have in our lives can easily go over-looked and underappreciated, not even making the list.

This thank-you is owed to your body.  It is your vehicle for life, a true miracle and something to be incredibly grateful for.  Include your body in your day of thanksgiving, for it is beautiful, it is strong, and it is a gift you have been given that deserves appreciation.

Today I am thankful for my body:  it has carried me through phsycial trails and triumphs, it is the gatekeeper of my health, and, when I run it makes me feel alive.  Give thanks for your body and acknowledge it for the beautiful gift that it is.
