Our minds need to be reprogrammed on a daily basis. Like a finely tuned car, daily maintenance and care must be taken to keep everything within our minds pristine. This morning as my alarm to go to work went off at 5:01AM, I dreaded everything about my day that didn’t involve staying in bed. Forcing myself to move nonetheless, I had to give myself a proper kick in the ass, a system re-load so to speak, to wake up my mind and to get my thinking right.
As I drove to work, I restructured my thinking. If I love what I do (which I do), then I really have nothing to dread. Furthermore, if I love life (which I do), then there really isn’t anything about living life that I shouldn’t look forward to (Mondays, taxes, and the DMV included). Do more of what makes you happy and live life in such a way that you love what you do and do what you love.
Take time every day to clean up your mind so that your present thoughts consistently align with your heart of hearts.
