RING THE BELL, MAKE A WISH.

By TrishBlackwell on January 19, 2013 in Blog, Meaning

Purchasing a wedding dress is an experience beyond what I imagined or expected. There’s something about that just feels so, well, right and exciting.  No one had really told me that it would be a big deal — I mean, aside from the dozen TV shows on networks like TLC — so I really hadn’t put much thought into the act of wedding dress shopping.

Do something unexpected and make some noise about it!

Life surprised me though yesterday.  I found myself with purchased dress in hand, a little wedding bell to ring and a giant smile on my face.   The hostess at the bridal shop sent me on my way, only after handing me a bell, telling me to make a wish and then cheering for my good fortune.  Who knew that wedding dress shopping could be so fresh, so fun, and so stress-free?  I was in and out of the store, my very first shopping attempt, within 45 minutes.

It was all unexpected, all so fun, and all so perfect for a Friday afternoon.

Do something unexpected and make some noise about it.  Find your own bell, ring it and make a wish.
