Fall makes me think about my family and friends more than any other season. I don’t know why, but there is something about the crispness of the air, the changing colors of the leaves and the promises of the holidays to come that seem to make life’s vibrancy imperative to share. Inevitably, Fall inspires me to dwell on my gratitude for the various outlets I have been blessed to have in my life and makes me want to plug back into them.
People come in and out of your life for very specific reasons; the people we share our life paths with are the outlets in our lives that we can choose to plug into or not. Connecting with others is the sure-fire way to keep yourself inspired, energized and supported; this connectivity is what makes humanity tick. Everyone knows that a sunset by yourself is nowhere near as beautiful as a sunset shared with someone. We all need to enjoy beauty together.
People need people.
Today, take the time to think about the extension cord of outlets that you have been blessed with and plug into them. Life is better when shared; reconnect with those you have removed yourself from and share yourself this Fall day. We make each other better.
