METHODICAL PLAY TIME.

By TrishBlackwell on November 28, 2011 in Blog, Meaning, Movement

Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while motivation and methodical physical exercise saves and preserves it. -Plato

I really believe that fitness is a party, and that everyone is invited.   Since the beginning of time, physical activity has been an essential element to the sanctity and preservation of the human life, but somewhere along the way it turned from essential fun to dreaded work.  It is no wonder that people hate working out and feel pressure to go to the gym.   What would happen if you stopped seeing working out for exactly that, “working”, and starting letting yourself have “play time” again?

Fitness is fun, and if it isn’t, push through, because it will become fun.   Stop thinking about exercise as “working” out and start thinking about it as “play time.”  Smile, find physical activities that you like to do, and be proud of yourself each and every day that you do something beneficial for your body.  Every day counts!
