Look where you are

Happy Friday!

Your thought of the weekend is the HERE AND NOW.  I have recently found myself so busy in doing-doing-doing that I have missed out on some of the here and now of life, and that is without a doubt what is THE best part of living.

This weekend I’m presenting at my alma mater high school, Chatham Hall for their weekend of wellness.  They sent me a picture of the wellness board that is displayed to excite people for the weekend, and there’s a quote from one of my blogs that just happened to be the perfect quote for this email:

If we are always looking ahead, or looking behind, we are never really able to just look and that is where we miss out on every important and worthwhile part of real life.

Don’t miss out on what really matters in life by being too busy.  Find a way this weekend to slow down and just be.

Workout of the Weekend:

This is an all weekend challenge…it’s a 100-Rep Challenge.  You can do this however you like, split over a few days, or all at once.  Just get it done. Here are the exercises:

Push ups
Air Squats
Lunge jumps (total)
Lunges (each leg)
Double Crunches
Burpees

Reflection of the Weekend:

Since I’m presenting on “confidence” this weekend, I want you to reflect on confidence itself as well.  What are the unique things about YOU that make you feel confident?  Make a list of at least ten reasons why you are proud to be you.  We often are so busy in “life” that we forget what it is that makes us each so unique and so worthy of confidence.

Have a fantastic weekend, CHOOSE confidence.
Love,
Trish

PS: Remember that impatience squashes more dreams than failure, so be patient with yourself in your fitness goals, personal goals and confidence growth.  Every small step in the right direction matters.
