Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world right in the eye. -Helen Keller
I read recently that there is a direct correlation between strength and longevity, and while the article was specifically addressing physical strength, there is no doubt that mental and emotional strength are equally worthy of being included in the correlation. The next time that you question whether or not to do a strength workout at the gym, think again. Similarly, the next time that you are distraught over the current trials in your life, re-frame the experience and know that you are honing your inner strength.
Gratitude for the opportunity to train our various forms of strength should be a part of our everyday living, and if it is, our every days will turn into many, many more every years.
Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. – Mahatma Gandhi
