Happy Thanksgiving! As you turkey trot your way around the local roads and your kitchen this morning, take thanks in every small moment of this day. There are 86,400 seconds in a day; catch these seconds as you live them and give thanks for every small detail of this holiday. If you run a local Turkey Trot this morning, breathe in the crisp air deeply and give thanks that your body can walk, run or trot. If your entire day is spent cooking and preparing a feast of love for others, then give thanks that you have enough people in your life that you love to celebrate life with you.

Thanksgiving isn't about what you eat (I can say this especially since I'm a vegetarian and will be eating salmon instead of turkey today), it's about what you celebrate as you eat: living and loving. LIFE, LOVE, EAT.
Whatever you do today, find five things about your day out of the ordinary that you normally wouldn’t take the time (the seconds) to slow down, notice and appreciate.
