“We French found it, and we call it joie de vivre — the joy of living.” -Renee Repound
Thursdays are good days to reassess why do you what you do. As your energy is waning from a long week, and you are eager for weekend pleasure, ask yourself what your Thursday means to you. For me, my Thursday is an intersection of excitement, it is the crossroads between my week and my weekend, and it is the combination of doing everything I love.
If you absolutely love what you do, or love what you are working towards in life, then you will know that Thursdays are like Saturdays: they are amazing. It’s okay to feel numb, burnt out, or directionless at times, that is, as long as you use those opportunities to realign your thinking and your motivation.
When you feel like quitting, think about why you started. If you don’t know why you started, then it’s time to dig deep within and figure out what exactly it is that you want in life.
Make each day count and make the choice to live your days, no matter what day of the week it is, with absolute joie de vivre.
