Your fears are not walls, but hurdles. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the conquering of it. -Dan Millman
The superpower that we all have is the power to be ourselves. For many of us though, we are unable to harness that superpower because we are held back by our own fears. Dan Millman’s above words are encouragement to anyone who finds themselves endlessly facing walls in life, because walls are never really walls, they are simply hurdles.
How freeing to know that it’s okay to be scared, and that in fact, that we need to be scared in order to hone our courage. Courage is simply the conquering of our greatest fears — the fear of being insufficient, the fear of being unloveable, the fear that we are not qualified to achieve our dreams — and once those fears are conquered, nothing, and I repeat, nothing can ever stop us.
Harness every ounce of courage that you can muster up within and battle your inner fears. It’s not okay to not be yourself.
