Hi there, beautiful! I’m Trish, and I’m happy you’re here. I’m a happiness-obsessed mom of two who got tired of being a perfectionist and decided to live life more beautifully. I love helping others do the same. You can usually always find me with a coffee mug in hand or chasing my two kiddos around with my pink laptop falling out of my diaper bag.
I wasn't always confident. In fact, most of my life, I hid my insecurities by being obsessed with achievement. Eventually, though, I hit rock bottom. I was a shell of a person, ravished by disappointments and damaged. I thought I would be forever defined and stuck in a life that wasn't going well - one marked by an abusive relationship, a serious eating disorder, anxiety, financial crisis, low self-esteem, and dehabilitating sexual assault. God had a better plan for me.
He plucked me from the pit, took my sorrow and turned it to joy. God has taken my brokenness and turned it into beauty, and my struggles He has turned into strengths. He will do the same for you. I have a passion for words, and helping women use them powerfully in their lives for positive change. Transformation comes when we learn to take our thoughts captive and we learn to see ourselves as the victorious, beloved women that God created us to be.
I am married to the man of my dreams, who loves God, words, and psychology as much as I do. You can find us on writing dates at wineries, taking family jogs with our double stroller, snowboarding in the mountains, reading on our back deck, or dreaming about our next international family trip.
