Growing to give

Happy Friday!  I’m here to challenge you to get your “grow” on.
My weekend is going to be filled with investments in my future: pre-martial counseling, property management paperwork, wedding planning detail finalization for our Bora Bora ceremony….lots to do, and all exciting. My weekend is a weekend about the growth of my life; likewise is your challenge this weekend.
There are six basic human needs that we find ways to fill.  Instinctively, we always find a way to fulfill the first four — certainty, variety, significance, love & connection — also known as the four basic needs of the personality.   The last two needs are what we need the most, and what are most often overlooked, leaving us feeling empty and squirmy about the life we are living.   The last two are what I want you to focus on this weekend.  True fulfillment only comes from these two needs, and they are when we are growing and contributing to something greater than ourselves.
Reflection of the Weekend:
How are you growing right now, this April 5th?  Be honest.
We need to be in a constant state of growth in all areas of our lives, so how are you investing in yourself?  Are there areas of your life that you perhaps invest in too much in comparison to others?
Write out exactly how you are proactively pursuing growth in the following areas, and, if you are a person who thrives on accountability, email me your answers:  (1). Intellectually (2). Professionally (3). Physically (4). Spiritually (5). Personally in your relationships with others.Finally, how are you contributing to something greater than yourself?  How is your legacy going to speak for what you left to this world once you are gone?   What are the things and causes that set your heart on fire?Workout Challenge:

April is a month of PLANKS.  This weekend, time yourself doing your maximum hold plank in all three positions (regular/prone, right side plank and left side plank).   Record your results and email them to me.  For the rest of the month you will re-test yourself every weekend and send me your results.

Grow and give of yourself this weekend.

PS Only ten days away from our open coaching call on April 15th!
