Todd Durkin always says 10-in, 10-out. It’s no surprise that he’s among the best of the best in the fitness industry, as are the clients he trains. Life is just like training: you get out of it what you put into it. Put in 10, or your best, you will get out 10. Put in a 5, and well, don’t be surprised when you are not happy with your results.
Today I came across a new inspiration ad for Timex, and it happens to have one of my best friends, Kelly Fillnow gracing the ad as the model. There is nothing more true in life than the fact that there are no shortcuts, and Kelly is the ultimate example of this truth. The American Amateur Record Holder for the Ironman, and now a professional triathlete, Kelly works and trains with the mentality that she owes it to God to use every last ounce of talent that she has been given. Kelly puts in 100% of her heart, soul, and commitment to the sport she loves, and it’s no wonder that she has been placed on a poster for Timex to capture the essence of 10-in, 10-out.
10-in, 10-out is how I want to live my life, how are you going to live yours?
