The habit of being happy enables one to be freed, or largely freed, from the domination of outside conditions.
-Robert Luis Stevenson
Yesterday I walked around completely naked for a few hours with about fifty Korean women. Yes, you read that correctly. Me, my birthday suit, and Korean women in their birthday suits. This was a first for me, and no, I was no visiting a nudist colony, but rather spent the day in exquisite relaxation at SpaWorld in Centerville, Virginia where I indulged in the state-of-the-art water massage bade pool and seven different poulitce rooms of amethyst gem, red clay, blue onyx, ice, charcoal, salt and red clay balls.
Being in a pool and sauna filled with naked body-confident women of all sizes and shapes was like being in another world. The experience is, in my opinion, simply essential for any woman seeking to improve how free she feels within herself au natural. As someone who once hid mysef from the world behind the shame of an eating disorder, the utter freedom of walking around in a communal, asexual and therapeutic environment was massively enlightening.
Free your body from the cage of self-consciousness and shame that you keep it locked up in. Take it from me: the human body is fantastically beautiful, no matter the size, shape, color, or “flaws” that you might perceive. Every body is gorgeous when it is freed, believe me, I saw a lot of humans in the raw yesterday. The only thing that locks our beauty away is our own shame, so let go and let your body be the body that it is meant to be. Stop hiding from the world, because when you are caged up in any capacity, then you are incapable of fulfilling your true purpose in the world. Free your body and free your soul alongside it, for as you do, you will start enhancing the freedom of others.
For to be free is not merely to cast off ones chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others. -Nelson Mandela
