It’s time to take peace seriously. Your own peace that is. It’s time to forge a truce with your body. Choose to be at peace with yourself and with your body. Peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
You and only you have the power to forge a truce of peace with your body. All I know is that being at war with yourself does you absolutely no good whatsoever. War with your own image or your own body is war: exhausting, unpredictable and destructive. Be at peace and if you are on a journey to become more fit, then allow your heart to be calm and self-accepting along the way.
