Failure is a good thing, if you know how to fail correctly. It’s true: there is a right and a wrong way to fail, and failing the right way starts with learning how to embrace failure itself. Failure is a cul-de-sac on the road to success, as long as you know how to welcome failure as a sign that you are pushing forward and paving a path for yourself. I came across this nugget of inspiration recently and it resonated so deeply with me that I wanted to share it with you:
Let us remember that the pursuit of a life well lived, that is, one that makes a difference in this world, demands that we be true to being ourselves. You are original, you are unique, you are one of a kind; with that in mind, make today a day where you refuse to cheapen your orginiality by comparing your story to the story of anyone else. Your story matters and the world needs to hear it, but first, you must be willing to go all out, and fail in your pursuits, in order to be heard by the world.
Go be yourself today and go love others well.
Confidently yours,
Trish
