I am a time-maximizer. Master of efficiency, I have been known to run to the bathroom in the middle of the night rather than walking (to minimize on total amount of sleep lost by waking, of course), to listen to motivational speakers on NPR while driving, and to dub the movies I watch into French audio with Spanish subtitles so that I’m multi-tasking while “relaxing.”
I support my energizer bunny ways with my favorite energy product, Endorush, a product that has an actual caution tag on the label to prevent over-consumption. While I absolutely lovethis product (actually all caffeine products as a matter of fact), it sometimes rushes me into living if I over-indulge. Even though I do feel fantastically full of life when hyper-caffeinated, rushed living is not living at all.
I will continue to drink my daily Endorush and Starbucks to get that extra pep to my step, however I am making an effort to be conscientious not over-consume them. As I look at my Endorush bottle every day, it is a constant reminder to me to find balance between rushed living and energetic living.
Take some time to analyze your habits. Do you rush your day away or do you need some more energy to drive some daily inspiration? Life is about balance, how is the state of your energy/exhaustion balance and what are you going to do to improve it?
