In one of my recent podcast episodes I talked about the concept of burning one’s boat. According to ancient Greek tradition, when going into battle, the Greeks would sail their ships to shore and then burn their boats. Without ships to return to, retreat was not possible thereby making winning was their only option for survival.
What would happen in your life if you burnt your boat once arriving to shore? What would happen if you actually set yourself up for success with such commitment that failure was not an option?
May we live like the Greeks who, in their time of glory, took action (sailed their ships) and made success their only option (burnt their boats). Sail your ship and then burn your boat; live in such a way that failure is not an option.
