The Friendly Bio:
Hi there, beautiful! I’m Trish, and I’m happy you’re here.
I’m a Virginia-born, happiness-obsessed mom of two who got tired of being a perfectionist and decided to live life more beautifully, and I love helping others do the same. You can usually always find me with a coffee mug in hand or chasing my two kiddos around with my pink laptop falling out of my diaper bag.
I struggled secretly with an eating disorder, low self-esteem and body confidence issues for ten years until one day, at a café in southern France a light bulb went off in my head about what real beauty and real confidence really are and I figured out how to change the way I thought, the way I felt and the way I lived. And I became about 1000x happier as a result. After my work visa expired I hustled back to the United States to share what I learned with other women through writing, podcasting, personal training, life coaching and confidence coaching.
My story is filled with a lot of brokenness …an abusive relationship, eating disorders, anxiety, financial crisis, and sexual assault … but God has turned that brokenness into beauty and given me strength through the struggle. He took my hopelessness and my weakness and transformed it and I know that He will do the same for you.
I still pinch myself every time I realized that I am actually married to the man of my dreams – to someone who is as nerdy as I am and who loves learning and growing as much as I do. You can find us on writing dates at wineries, taking family jogs with our double stroller, snowboarding in the mountains, reading on our back deck, or dreaming about our next international family trip.
Make yourself at home. You belong here and I am happy to call you my friend. I hope you have a glass of wine in hand or some strong coffee, there is a lot of encouragement for you to explore here in my blog posts, my podcasts and my College of Confidence. You have amazing potential within you and it is my prayer that I will help fuel you with the courage and confidence to cultivate it and to live life beautifully.
