ATHENS CALLING.

By TrishBlackwell on August 1, 2011 in Blog, Meaning, Movement

“I travel not to go anywhere, but to go.  I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.” -Robert Louis Stevenson

An international phone call is a great surprise indeed, and while we have all sorts of high tech communication options nowadays, actual communication with friends or family abroad is often less frequent than it should be.  Yesterday a surprise phone call from my brother in Athens, Greece made my morning and inspired my imagination as he spoke of his upcoming travels to me.  Within the next two days Nick will be in Athens, Warsaw, NYC, and then Philly, after a few months he will journey back to Greece and Cyprus, and then finally on to Jerusalem for four months of archeological study.  Nick opens my mind.  He reminds me to pursue what I love without abandon or doubt.  Nick is living from his heart, and the world seems to magically unfold around him as a result.

There is absolutely nothing holding you back from living your dream other than yourself.   If you want to travel the world, do it.  Perhaps you want to be the best in your business, become it.  These types of things are decisions, not just good fortune, for the only thing holding us back from success is our own self doubt.  If a healthy, fit and lean body is your goal, it is a lot easier to achieve after you stop self-sabotaging.   Surround yourself with believers and refuse to let toxic thinkers into your life.

The world of possibilities is calling, are you ready to respond?
