Self-love is the ability to have unconditional positive regard towards oneself, and no matter your personal background or current level of self-esteem, everyone can strengthen their foundation of self-love. A solid concept of self-love creates the base of confidence, self-trust and the ability to achieve anything you set your mind to.
Self-criticism

Misunderstanding self-love

Feelings that you shouldn’t focus on self
Chronic Stress and Burnout: Constantly pushing oneself to the point of exhaustion or neglecting self-care can hinder self-love as it undermines physical and emotional well-being.
Comparisons: Constantly comparing oneself to others can lead to feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness. This habit of measuring self-worth based on external achievements or appearances can hinder self-love.
Negative Self-Talk: When individuals constantly criticize themselves, focus on their flaws, or engage in self-deprecating thoughts, it erodes their self-esteem and makes it difficult to cultivate self-love.
