In this episode of The Confidence Podcast we’re talking about:
I have always struggled with my body image. Now I have a beautiful daughter I am so scared that if she grows up having a mom with poor confidence, that she may never see her own beauty. I went on a search for a positive message and found this podcast. I started from the oldest episode I could scroll back to and it took me exactly where I needed to be! I am a first time mom to a beautiful one year old baby girl, which is exactly where Trish was in 2016. I was thrilled to find out that Trish was also a faith based woman and love that she shares her walk with Christ. Since I have started listening on my way to work everyday I have also purchased her book Insecurity Detox. I love starting and ending my day with Trish’s positivity and truth. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, you are truly an inspiration. -Kim Todd

First off, who is “they”?
Are they really even talking about you?
Are you going to give them the right to reign in your life?
And, if they even do say something – so what.
Do you want to live cautiously or courageously?
Do you want to make an impact or protect yourself?
Do you want to come alive or do you want to live half-heartedly?
Prenez vie, prenez vie.
If you’re good at feeling, you’ll stop self-sabotaging.
If you’re good at failing, you’ll stop procrastinating.
Feeling will give you resilience and self-awareness. Your increased awareness will give you higher quality thoughts and a better self-concept, enabling you to see yourself capable of things far beyond your previous emotional intelligence.
Failing will give you courage, perseverance and a stick-to-it-ness / scrappiness that results in the confidence that there is truly nothing that can stand between you and the results you want in life.
-Stopping something is powerful, not always weak
-Have the courage to do what is right for you – to pivot
-Break up with past behaviors
