Coaching your confidence and courage to that you finish what you start and contribute to the world in a way that matters.
Imposter Syndrome is an expression of insecurity in which we are so preoccupied by what people think of us that we feel like frauds doing what we are doing. Imposter syndrome consumes you with self-doubt, overthinking and feelings of being unqualified. Often people who struggle with this put a tremendous amount of pressure on themselves and are always looking for external affirmation or qualifications to provide internal validation. This episode explores the Imposter Syndrome internal voice, how to win against imposter syndrome, and teaches you how to start evicting it from your self-talk. Invaluable Tool for your Toolbox
EMJEssentials
I’d heard about the podcast for a year years but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago when I made time to listen. Wow- blown away! Trish almost always addresses the very things I’m wrestling with and uses the words and concepts that have made changes in my thoughts. I took time to join the College of Confidence and have been encouraged in my personal struggles and professional challenges by Trish and that community. We all need a toolbox to get through this life – this podcast is that really awesome multi-tool that addresses so many problems we contend with privately and publicly. Thanks, Trish for sharing your gifts!
Just some special love and deep gratitude your way for how you support the show. You are a small and mighty group and each and every one of your contributions feels like a big, warm, wiggle hug. Thank you.

#1: Delight in being a life-long learner.
-This allows you to be a beginner with confidence
-This allows you to be an intermediate without cockiness
-This allows you to be an expert without pressure or perfection
I’m just here to learn, grow and contribute back.
#2: Trusting the Super Trish Inside
-You have a SuperYou inside. It’s the you that listens to my voice, the one that gets courage and clarity and powerful visions. It’s the most confident you. And when that version of you makes a choice – or has a dream – learn to trust it.
-Trust the best you who decided that you can do what you set out to do.
-Quiet the “who I am to…” or the “what if they find out …” voice
#3: Show Up Consistently and Imperfectly
-There is no need to be an expert, progression, not perfection
-Commitment is courageous and it wins the long race of anything
-Make it a non-negotiable – I don’t give myself a choice to “feel like it” or “feel ready”

Hi Trish, Happy Thanksgiving! My name is Sadie and I’m a Junior in high school from Florida. I just wanted to reach out and say that I am SO thankful for you and your podcast!
I began club swim the summer before my Sophomore year and fell in love with the sport. If i’m being honest, it has not always been easy to show up to practice considering almost all of my teammates have been swimming from a young age.
Around a year ago, I randomly stumbled upon your podcast before swim practice. I was looking for some encouragement on Spotify and your podcast appeared. Within the first few minutes I heard you talk about swim and your faith in God. I thought it was so ironic how you mentioned swim because I was just about to go to practice. I knew i was meant to find your podcast. Ever since then I have listened to your podcast at least once a week.
I remember the day I found your podcast because it immediately gave me confidence, which is something that has been challenge, especially at swim lol. Also, thank you so much for including faith episodes. They have helped me strengthen my relationship with God. Thank you so so much again.
Many Blessings,
Sadie
