Confidence After Abandonment, by Rachel_Noah88, 5 Stars

This podcast is exactly what I needed. When my childhood “best friends” began to ignore me and exclude me from gatherings without explanation, I fell into a very dark place. I began to blame myself for the loss of the relationships and I obsessively replayed every interaction I had with them, over the 20 year period, over and over in my mind. I not only lost all my confidence, but I became very insecure. It caused me to lose all my trust in my other healthy relationships in my life and I began to hurt those that loved me most. Then, I found Trish. Trish’s encouraging spirit is beyond inspiring, and I love her ability to relate life situations to the word of God. She allowed me to gain confidence in my body image, my career, and most importantly, myself and my relationships with others. I would love to hear more on “how to be confident after abandonment,” because although therapy and Trish have helped me a lot, I still have a long way to go. Love you, Trish!

Figure out what you want podcasts

And idea is where we all start.

But to take it to a dream, means we have to believe in it.

Then, to next level the dream to actualization of it, goals need to be put into place.

My job as a coach is to call you up to your highest self.

It is to tell you the truth and show you were you aren’t being specific.

When we aren’t specific, we will wander.

When we wander, we will get mediocre results and experiences.

Your Belief System matters.

Do you belief that you were created for more?

All Beliefs Create (ABC) something.

Believe that you matter.

Believe that you have purpose.

Believe that you can awaken passion.

Believe that you can be adventurous as you chase what you want.

If you don’t know what you want, you won’t know what to go after – and you’ll live a life of average drabness.  You were made for more.

—- > the number of people who come to me and simply don’t know what they want or what they are passionate about is astounding. Do not be discouraged if you find yourself in this category — culture has taught us to follow the check-boxes. It’s time to stop drifting and to start taking control of what you are willing to dream and design for your life.

Goals are something you are acting on.

Dreams are something you are just thinking about.

Goals have deadlines.

Dreams are loosy goosey.

Goals have a cost.

Dreams are free.

Goals produce results.

Dreams don’t.

Goals can change your life.

Dreams can inspire you.

Goals have a focus.

Dreams don’t.

Dreams can inspire you, but goals can change your life.

Goals do come true.

Ideas? They are just uncommitted thoughts of weak thinkers.

Why don’t we dare to dream?

-We feel unworthy

-We feel overwhelmed with ideas

-We feel too small

-We feel incapable of doing the big thing ahead

-We feel like running from adulting

-We feel nervous about locking into something that we might change

Why don’t we get specific about making it a goal?

-It feels too real

-It feels risky

-It is about what people think about us

-It is failure avoidance

-It is small thinking about our capability

First, figure out what you want.

  1. Ask yourself.
  2. Ask God.
  3. Explore.
  4. Get creative.
  5. Get coaching.

Dare to dream.

  1. Create time to think big.
  2. Get in a beautiful place.
  3. Prime yourself to sit with the unknown and the possibilities.
  4. Get coaching.
  5. Be bold enough to write it own.
  6. Take it next level by speaking it out loud.

Do something.

-Take action.

-Get obsessed with becoming Version 2.0 of yourself

-Think about how you are making the world better

-Motivate yourself by reminding yourself of consequences: what will happen if you don’t show up?

-Write specific steps out.

I’m going to give it to you straight:

  1. Decide what it is that you want to do. What do you want? Make time to figure this out, otherwise you will find yourself here, a year from now, thinking about the same thing, still feeling half-fulfilled and half-unfulfilled because you didn’t have the courage to be specific.
  2. Get into an atmosphere where you will be pushed to implement and to share. That’s what I created the College of Confidence for – to create a safe, and extremely affordable place where you can do this work.

I am working only with people who are willing to commit to a 6-month goal.

In the beginning of 2020, I started working at a luxury hotel in San Francisco. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I was sent back home. When I came back home to Los Angeles, I started digging deeper on what I really wanted to do and what made me truly happy. I realized my true call was to start my own business, creating a real impact on my customers and on society as well.

A sunglasses brand became the perfect idea, as my family has owned an optical store selling prescription glasses and sunglasses for over two generations. I spent my afternoons after school helping out at the store since I was a child so I already have a foundation for the eyewear industry.

I decided to carry on my family legacy by focusing only on sunwear and I started using my time in quarantine to build my business. I named the company Formosun after my birth country Taiwan since it was once called Republic of Formosa which meant beautiful island. On September 29th of 2020 I finally launched Formosun after months of production.

My goal is that as I grow my business, I can give back to create a positive impact in our society and create a community of empowerment and confidence around us.

Warm Regards,

Fiona Tung
