bbb20161 Thank you!!! – Five Stars
Ok, so I guess I’m taking some of your advice and just doing this review right away instead of waiting for the right time. I’ve only just started listening to your podcast (started last week) and all I can say is WOW! I knew I struggled with anxiety and confidence but for you to articulate the things I’m feeling in a way that I have never been able to put into words or to hear that the perfectionistic thoughts I have that I thought were just part of “who I am” or “what gives me drive” are in fact only negative manifestations of my personality, not my actual personality, and that I can actually work to ignore those thoughts and instead focus that energy in a positive way, has helped me tremendously. I have already recommended your podcast to a number of people in my life who struggle with the same issues. I thank you for putting yourself out there and talking about these issues to help other people in such an amazing way!
-The magic of “get to” versus “have to”
-Consider your unfair advantage (this will keep you from looking at everyone else’s perceived advantages)
-The key to success is playing the hand you were dealt like it’s the hand you wanted. Kaitlin Walsh
-I always had a good attitude, but I never locked in on or really believed I could have a solid, unwavering base. I thought powerful thinking was a one and done, but it’s not – it’s daily training and hour-by-hour choices.
-Refer back to episode #329 – you have a purpose, episode “Why I know You’re Not Average”
-Look around > the world needs you. Never underestimate the power of the butterfly effect.
-Ask God, wrestle with Him – seek for significance, look for wisdom
-Serve others; leave the world better because you were in it
-Do the DASH exercise

Delight is deeper than a simple and passing feeling of happiness. Instead, it is what our souls crave. It is a sustained feeling of the soul. A deep satisfaction in a moment of life that expands that moment to take up more space than it actually does.
A strong feeling of happiness, a cause or source of great pleasure; a high degree of gratification.
Original root is from Latin word “delectare,” to charm, and Old French delittier, which ultimately became Middle English in the 16
thCentury making the word “delight.”
Detoxing distraction and deepening satisfaction in life.
Discovering deep joy in the daily grind.
Finding the magic in the everyday and the deep love of God.
-Beauty from brokenness, strength from setbacks, healing from hopelessness
-My setbacks have taught me that I am tough as nails, I am developing a thicker and thicker skin, I have resilience, I am driven, I have clarity, I am okay with having people who don’t like me or who judge me – I want my voice and my life to stand for something, and if you stand for anything, you will rub some people the wrong way.
School is starting back up – Summer is coming to a close … it’s time to shed the things holding you back and to lean into what you anticipate is waiting you in the future.

Sarah Purol, one of our Lifetime Members in The College of Confidence!
I did it! I finished the Grand Island Half Marathon.
I was not as strong or as well trained as I would have liked……
But I freakin did it!
These past couple of months have been hell. I’ve struggled with bouts of depression and healing from this break up has been bumpy.
You know what got me through this half? YOU! Your words! I listened to episodes of your podcast and your positivity and encouragement drowned out any negativity and doubts and kept me going. I was able to put one foot in front of the other and made forward progress.
One thing (from one of your episodes) that struck me were along the lines of it doesn’t have to been perfect to be powerful’ DAMN!
This was my own race. I ran when I could and I walked when I needed to.
So thankful for you and your message!
