Let’s first address “common” and more well known ways to manage stress:
Talking about your problems
(1) IDENTIFY YOUR STRESSORS
-eliminate unnecessary commitments
-avoid toxic influencers
-cut back and have a strategy around what stresses you and create a plan that puts you in the “offensive” position versus a “defensive” one
(2) SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE AND YOUR TO-DO LIST
-simplify and cut down your to-do list
-prioritize via A/B/C system
-set better boundaries and build in more margin
-say no more often
(3) CREATE MORE JOY & A BETTER ENVIRONMENT
-create zen-like enviornments
-bring the joy and have more fun
-find ways to manage your clutter – the visible and invisible
(4) OWN YOUR MENTAL POWER
-resist the appeal of being a victim or being at the mercy of what stresses you
