HOW TO BECOME SOMEONE WHO FINISHES WHAT THEY START
- Decide that you value the character trait of follow-through as a key part of your personal integrity.
- Create accountability systems for yourself and plan out action steps.
- Give yourself deadlines and timelines – and then just do it.
- Remember that once you are in motion, you will stay in motion – finishing what you start will get easier and easier as you go and get used to committing to doing what you say you are going to do.

- You will have more confidence and self-trust.

I want to tell you that what you do–your talents to encourage people and help people discover and maintain their confidence–is so important and such a gift to so many people.
Throughout my life, I have labeled myself as a non-finisher but I am determined to finish your book Insecurity Detox. And I will. The first few chapters so much of myself-my life-has already changed for the better. I am more confident now than I have ever been.
In preparation for a recent interview, I played one of your podcasts as I walked outdoors to try to clear my head. In it, you said some things about finding worth in ourselves. That things worth going for are worth the risk. I stopped here and there and wrote notes on my Starbucks cup (it was all I had to write on!) and took a picture before I threw the cup away so I’d remember these things later.
I gave the best interview of my life that day. It was like it wasn’t even me. I knew at that point I’d become to emerge from a life filled with negative self-talk into something far better, but I was on the cusp–not quite yet believing I was all the good things I was trying to tell myself. But I had your words and my faith combined to pull me back each time I started to revert to my old thoughts.
I got the job.
I am so thankful. Insecurity Detox and Confidence on the Go were KEY to having the courage to go for this new chapter in my life, and I’m so glad for it. Thank you.
I was recently searching for some motivation and listened to “How To Take Massive Action”? That is exactly what I needed! I want to be healthy and after eating a dozen cookies in the last 24 hours, I’d say massive action needed!
