As always, a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners, thanks for being a part of this extended community of contagious encouragement.
I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause. Shop for your own Beautycounter collection at www.beautycounter.com/trishblackwell
A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.
James Allen Quotes:
Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.
Man’s mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth.
Every thought-seed sown or allowed to fall into the mind, and to take root there, produces its own, blossoming sooner or later into act, and bearing its own fruitage of opportunity and circumstance. Good thoughts bear good fruit, bad thoughts bear bad fruit.
Take the training of your thoughts, as seriously as you do the training of your body, or the training you would go through for your dream job. The training you do affects everything about how you life and about how you see and experience the world.
Create “thought-time” in your life.
-Open time to think
-Open time to learn
-Undistracted silence and space
-Daily input and daily output
-Freedom to explore ideas without judgment
There is no physician like cheerful thought for dissipating the ills of the body; there is no comforter to compare with goodwill for dispersing the shadows of grief and sorrow.
As the physically weak man can make himself strong by careful and patient training, so the man of weak thoughts can make them strong by exercising himself in right thinking.
James Allen Quotes:
Doubts and fears should be rigorously excluded; they are disintegrating elements, which break up the straight line of effort, rendering it crooked, ineffectual, useless. Thoughts of doubt and fear never accomplished anything, and never can.
Doubt and fear are the great enemies of knowledge, and he who encourages them, who does not slay them, thwarts himself at every stop.
He who has conquered doubt and fear has conquered failure.
All that man achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own thought.
A man can only rise, conquer, and achieve by lifting up his thoughts.
Conquer failure by conquering doubt and fear.
Conquer doubt and fear by knowing that it is universal – don’t allow it to let you hesitate from taking action or moving forward. Stay strong in your mind with the truth that you have the power to leverage anything in your life through thought, including any uncertainties that lay along the way.
Conquer all three by acting anyway, no matter how you feel. You can act through fear and doubt and you can make failure an impossibility IF you are strong in mind and thought.

I couldn’t figure out how to leave a review or email you so, I am writing you here. I stumbled upon your podcasts while searching for self help podcasts one day at my new job that started roughly a month ago. I had been struggling to follow through on my business plans/ideas with my partner, I felt in a rut, and I was beginning to second guess and doubt all the work and sacrifices I had made. After listening to just 1 of your podcasts I immediately felt more peace and happiness fill my body. I began thinking of all my sacrifices as blessing instead of inconveniences, I started really loving myself and the things I wanted to accomplish. I don’t know how you did it but just hearing your sweet, inspiring, voice sparked something inside me and I know that I am on the path I am supposed to be walking. I look forward to work so I can listen to your podcasts and I have almost listened to them all and I am excited to start them all again! Thank you for not only doing what you do for yourself but for people like me. I needed your words to fill my day so I can continue becoming the best me. Keep up the amazing work. I love you, Trish.
