As always, a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners, thanks for being a part of this extended community of contagious encouragement.
I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause. Shop for your own Beautycounter collection at www.beautycounter.com/trishblackwell
Foundational habits are the framework habits that lay the cornerstone of your subconscious existence. Over 80% of what we do on a day to day basis is done on autopilot, so those who live with great confidence simply do so because they have established auto-piloted habits that promote and sustain confidence. You can do the same.
Confidence is the courage to show up as your full self each and every day and to live life to the fullest.
It’s a process, a daily activity you engage in throughout the day.
Identify which thoughts serve you and which ones don’t.
Know that you have the power of choice and thought.
Believe that you are growing each day more into your best self
Habits of mantras, journaling, speaking truth out-loud, being generous with your words of life and encouragement – the habit of taking time to think about something before letting it become real
Relentless positivity is a belief system.
Believe that your best is yet to come – look forward to each year and each season.
Free yourself from living in the past or being fearful of the future
Establish a baseline of self-efficacy and confidence about the challenges that inevitably lie ahead and know that you will be strong and capable enough to handle them.
Cultivate consistent action to prevent yourself from analysis by paralysis, from procrastination or from playing small in life.
Take action for yourself AND take action for others.
Action begets more action and sets things off … you will see more results and therein benefit with a wave of natural confidence that will take over and move you forward even further.
I am taking on this challenge of ‘do something everyday that scares you’ for 14 days!! I just finished my list and it does seriously scare me…But I am excited about it! I am someone who lives with a lot of fear in my life…it takes the life out of me and I am so exhausted living this way…I know God has more for me than living like this! I know this will be a step to learning to get rid of my fear and live with more courage! I have been a faithful listener of yours and have made some progress in this area…thanks to so much of your encouragement! It’s still a long hard journey to living an abundant life and being where I can be free from the power fear has over my life; but it’s been a beautiful journey too filled with many beautiful people (your one of them!) who have encouraged me so much and I know it’s possible to live in the freedom you talk about! Thanks for believing in me Trish! Thanks for all the truth you speak! Most of all thanks for not letting fear win in your life and instead facing it and speaking out and changing others lives! Your podcasts, short 3 minute videos, and your emails have been highlights of so many of my days and have turned my day around by helping me refocus and listen to truth! Your podcast #212 was sooo good for me! I feel like I’m rambling but I just want you to know you have changed my life and your one of my biggest encouragers! May God richly bless your life! Here’s to doing things that scare me every day and instead investing in my relationship with courage! Thanks so much Trish!
