As always, a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners, thanks for being a part of this extended community of contagious encouragement.
I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause. Shop for your own Beautycounter collection at www.beautycounter.com/trishblackwell
“And the beauty of a woman, with passing years only grows!”
― Audrey Hepburn
“Age has no reality except in the physical world. The essence of a human being is resistant to the passage of time. Our inner lives are eternal, which is to say that our spirits remain as youthful and vigorous as when we were in full bloom. Think of love as a state of grace, not the means to anything, but the alpha and omega. An end in itself.”
― Gabriel García Márquez, Love in the Time of Cholera
“You don’t stop laughing when you grow old, you grow old when you stop laughing.”
― George Bernard Shaw
“It’s very simple. As you grow, you learn more. If you stayed at twenty-two, you’d always be as ignorant as you were at twenty-two. Aging is not just decay, you know. It’s growth. It’s more than the negative that you’re going to die, it’s also the positive that you understand you’re going to die, and that you live a better life because of it.”
― Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie

Hello Trish. I read your book, Insecurity Detox, as part of the Personal Development aspect of an online fitness group I am a part of. I started listening to your podcast while I was reading your book.
I just wanted to reach out and let you know that your book spoke to my so directly that after the introduction, I had to put it down and take a moment to say “Whoa. This book is gonna touch my soul and force me to confront some uncomfortable things I think and believe about myself”. And it sure did. I had such low self esteem (as a 34 year old happily married mother of 2) and often put myself down mentally, physically, and spiritually. I have a long way to go, but your book has me facing those negative habits and changing them to be a much better version of myself, accepting my flaws, and embracing (and acknowledging) my strengths. Changing simple things like stopping myself from saying “ugh you’re so dumb!” when I make a mistake or “I’m so lazy” when I make excuses to not do something has changed not only how I think but how I feel and act because I know I’m not neither dumb or lazy!
I have since gifted this book 3 times and you better believe my daughter will be reading this book when she gets older. It should be mandatory reading for all women. 🙂
Your weekly podcasts keep inspiring me and I love listening every Tuesday.
I’m thankful for the lessons you’ve lived and learned and chose to share because now I get to benefit too! 🙂
Again, thanks for all you do!
Colleen
