In this episode of Confidence on the Go we’re chatting about:

  • How to find the time you need to do what you really want to do
  • The pitfalls of poor time management
  • 7 ways to stop losing the time game

Just a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners out there – thanks for being part of the community of contagious encouragement.

I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone.   The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause.

Because I’m tried of people having excuses!

You have to decide ahead of time what matters the most to you.

Plan your time around your priorities

Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action. –Napoleon Hill

Time is the most valuable coin in your life. You and you alone will determine how that coin will be spent. Be careful that you do not let other people spend it for you. –Carl Sandburg

To have more peace, as well as more time, start by letting go of the notion that time can be manipulated. Then, let go of the idea that it confines you. Instead, set out to use the time that is there for its true and best purpose – as the space within which you can live your life to the fullest.” –Michelle Passoff

I can’t manage time. But I can control my 24 hours to be valuable. –Mohammed Sekouty

You are constantly anxious.

You are always saying or wishing you had more time

You don’t spend enough time with the people you love

You often break commitments

You are sleep deprived or don’t sleep well

You are stressed and worried about how to get everything done

You struggle with your fitness or weight but don’t think you have time to workout

You are behind on email and other small to-dos

You zone out in front of the TV instead of doing something you need to do

You find yourself grabbing food on the go

You are friends with procrastination

You struggle with concentration

You find yourself always running late or tardy

>Sleep Deprivation

>Poorly Defined Goals

>Rushing / Impatience

>Doing Everything Yourself

  1. Know your priorities
  2. Stop saying ‘I’m soooo busy”
  3. Refuse to make excuses
  4. Think about time as a currency
  5. Create more margin
  6. Declare yourself a winner
  7. Kick perfectionism to the curb

We all have time to do what we want to do. Does what you say you want to do and what you really want to do line up?

Do you really want to make your life matter?

Are you honest ready to stop living with excuses in your life?

Most people have become so accustomed to stress – are you truly willing to shake it up and try living differently (it will feel funky and crazy even though it seems too good to be true)?

Do you really believe you can change? (If you don’t believe and if you aren’t able to shift your perspective on your possibilities, then you have no possibly of ever changing).
