SPONSORSHIP NOTE:

I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone.   The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause.

SETTING UP THE SECRET TO WORK FOR YOU

>Know if you are a morning person or night person

>Your strength will come easy, but it still needs to be tweaked and a discipline

>Your weak time of day will need the most focus and work

>Share your set-up with someone else

>Make a note of when you start this success secret

>Decide what areas of your life you want more success and happiness

>Determine your definition of success

HOW TO KNOW IF YOU’RE OFF YOUR GAME

>You feel off

>Your projects or development seems scattered

>You feel behind or overwhelmed

>You are exhausted or discouraged

>You have engaged and found comfort in bad habits and/or procrastination

For me, I know I’m off my game when my TV watching goes up, my sugar intake and night snacking / boredom increases, my productivity goes down, my creativity suffers, my relationships involve too much screen time, my anxiety hangs around my head, my old eating disorder or body image thoughts creep back in, my inspiration suffocates and, as a morning person, I dread getting up, press snooze frequently or feel insecure as I start the day.
