This week, on the show, we’re chatting about:
Just a quick hello to all of my Keep the Faith listeners out there
– thanks for being part of the community of contagious encouragement.
I am proud to be an educator and consultant for Beautycounter, a B-Corp company on a mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. The lack of regulation in the personal care and cosmetic industry is astounding and it is harming our health in very serious ways. We need more voices to join up on our mission. If you want to put your passion to purpose while being generously compensated, then I would love to start a conversation with you about what it means to be involved in the #saferbeauty tribe that is Beautycounter. Join the movement of #betterbeauty and message me via email to make your voice really resonate for a cause.
Author, speaker, transformational life coach.
In her early twenties, Toshia Shaw was taken from a restaurant and forced into a life of sex slavery. The post traumatic stress that she suffered after her escape meant that past life (and the feelings of safety and security that she had associated with it) was gone for good, and she found herself stuck emotionally between her past and her future.
Toshia believed for all the world that she would be immobilized and stuck in a place of anger, hurt and suffering forever. Her negative emotional state had a knock-on effect and she began physically suffering from paralyzing headaches, stomach ulcers and terrible panic attacks as the result of her stress and anxiety.
The only cure for her suffering, she found, was practicing forgiveness.
The daily practice that she teaches in The Green Light of Forgiveness will help you move past the anger and resentment you associate with your past and achieve more than in your future that you ever thought possible.

I wanted to tell you how your book INSTANTLY impacted me! I read the part detoxifying from stress. And I thought of the idea, or you wrote about about it and I had an ah ha moment…WHY was I making myself sick with stress trying to plan a wedding and a Recital? Why was I going to spend 6,000 plus to feed other people for a few hours, and all the work going into it?
Bottom line, I just want to be married!
We wanted our date to be the 16th, well, this Saturday is the 16th, so my gut prompted me to suggest going to Las Vegas!!
And so we are.
I saved up enough money in the last few months and in 2 days I booked our flights, hotel, wedding venue and package… My dress fits and is being shortened on a rush order, got my shoes within 5 minutes of walking into DSW. Got my botox, eyebrows waxed, nails done and as I’m writing, hair is getting done. I’ve also organized an impromptu bridal shower with my tennis partner and studio mom’s… Everything has happened with such flow. And I’ve given gratitude out loud for every single thing that had gone right
Thank you for that message. I listened and am so relieved!
