In this week’s episode we are interviewing author Rachel Anne Ridge and chitchatting about:
Run with the horses. The pursuit of excellence conquers fears.
Be a trailblazer. Persistence makes pathways for grace.
Find your passion. Passion leads to purpose.
Wear your donkey-heart on your sleeve. A well-lived life is an authentic life.
Stand where the fruit is falling. The secret to abundance is in choosing gratitude.
Embrace change. Don’t let fear keep you from moving forward.
While painting birdhouses for Christmas gifts one year, Rachel discovered a love for art, and inadvertently launched a new career. In 1999, she took paint brushes and began creating murals and faux finishes in the booming Dallas area, and was later joined by her husband (of 30 years) when the accidental business started growing. Rachel and Dan have worked together since then, and have expanded into graphic design, way-finding, large-format printing, and retail sales of her canvas prints and art products. It has been an amazing journey of bootstrapping and hard work, all while raising three children and making fun memories along the way. Home Sanctuary .com is where Rachel blogs and she lives in a funky yellow barn house in Texas that’s perfect for her, her family and her silly donkey named Flash.

I had a question I thought you might be able to help me with. I’ve recently started my faith journey (discovering/learning about God) and I’m just wondering if you have any tips, resources, personal advice, directions your could point me in, that would be so helpful!
Thank you for your time! Sending love from Vancouver BC
