AS SEEN ON
Hi there, beautiful! I’m Trish, and I’m happy you’re here. I’m a Virginia-born, happiness-obsessed mom of two who got tired of being a perfectionist and decided to live life more beautifully, and I love helping others do the same. You can usually always find me with a coffee mug in hand or chasing my two kiddos around with my pink laptop falling out of my diaper bag. I struggled secretly with an eating disorder, low self-esteem and body confidence issues for ten years until one day, at a café in southern France a light bulb went off in my head about what real beauty and real confidence really are and I figured out how to change the way I thought, the way I felt and the way I lived. And I became about 1000x happier as a result. After my work visa expired I hustled back to the United States to share what I learned with other women through writing, podcasting, personal training, life coaching and confidence coaching. My story is filled with a lot of brokenness …an abusive relationship, eating disorders, anxiety, financial crisis, and sexual assault … but God has turned that brokenness into beauty and given me strength through the struggle. He took my hopelessness and my weakness and transformed it and I know that He will do the same for you. I still pinch myself every time I realized that I am actually married to the man of my dreams – to someone who is as nerdy as I am and who loves learning and growing as much as I do. You can find us on writing dates at wineries, taking family jogs with our double stroller, snowboarding in the mountains, reading on our back deck, or dreaming about our next international family trip. Make yourself at home. You belong here and I am happy to call you my friend. I hope you have a glass of wine in hand or some strong coffee, there is a lot of encouragement for you to explore here in my blog posts, my podcasts and my College of Confidence. You have amazing potential within you and it is my prayer that I will help fuel you with the courage and confidence to cultivate it and to live life beautifully.

THE SKINNY, SEXY MIND
Low self-esteem is an epidemic among American women. In the United States, 67% of women are dieting at any given time; an additional 10% have an eating disorder; and 80% of ten-year-old girls have already tried dieting. Trapped by a compulsive need to conform to arbitrary societal standards of beauty, American women have lost their sense of self. The Skinny, Sexy Mind is here to change all that. It is a book that coaches confidence and teaches you how to love yourself from the inside out.
The key to having more confidence in your relationship with God is to spend time daily with Him. Our confidence in something grows when we make that something a priority in our lives. It doesn’t matter what it is, if you give it more attention, you will grow in relationship with it, and therefore have
I struggled with a deep sense of malaise for years of my life. I did everything I could to drive up my self-esteem, but I always came up short. I got almost perfect grades, but I always felt “behind.” I had lots of friends and cute boyfriends, but I always felt like the odd-ball out.
Caring about what people thought almost killed me. Perfectionism almost crushed me. No one knew it. It would have been hard to tell. I was a perfect student. I was friends with almost everyone. I was a top athlete with international, world championship experience. I dated models and professional athletes. And still I wondered at
